TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up
Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
FIX API is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That would round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
This is the detail that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
