Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know
Tab Trade - The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
Now, the part that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. It does be part of your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before funding.
